So it's only my second day in Spain and I'm already obsessed with this place. I have been in Madrid for a couple of days, Toledo tomorrow and finally we get to Barcelona on Monday. Madrid is awesome, it's way bigger than I expected and there are people EVERYWHERE. Yesterday we got to go on a bus tour of the city and saw all of the parks and monuments like the Spanish king's palace which has over 3,000 rooms. After the tour I went out to dinner with some friends and went to a famous dance club in Madrid called Kapital, it has 7 floors and every floor has a different theme and genre of music, we made lots of Spanish friends and spent way too much money. Today we went to the Museo del Prado where we learned all about El Greco, Velazquez and Goya. We also went to the Reina Sofia which was all contemporary art and we saw lots of Miro and Picasso. Hey Sara - How busy you must be meeting and learning and touring. Your mom says you're going to London. Good move..it's the most exciting and diverse city I've been to - six years ago or so of course. Not as colorful as Barcelona I guess, but soo full of energy. Hope you're having fun and staying well.
